Visiting Seattle – Day 2

Day 2 we visited the town of Olympia. It was fun to kick back and visit relatives.

We went to the Olympia Farmer’s Market.

Ate yummy food.

Cherries were in season at the market. I love this handmade cherries sign.

I tried these Bee Bees … interesting.
Leah was a fan of the baked goods.

I was a fan of these wreaths – would love one for my front door…but couldn’t fit it in my suitcase.

We took a break and went coffee tasting right around the corner from the farmer’s market.

It was beautiful to see all the produce and flowers that were in season. Leah had some fresh picked fennel from her garden.
Sara and Michale have adopted chickens in their backyard…a great way to get fresh eggs if you can keep up with them!
Peonies werre everywhere in Seattle. These in the photo are from my mother-in-law’s garden. So beautiful I wished I could take them on the plane home.

We ended our visit with a wonderful dinner and a relaxing breakfast with everyone – thanks for a fun visit – now off to Seattle for the rest of my trip -Day 3
